In 1975, Diane sold custom-built homes and her husband Ken was a roofing contractor. After marriage, they became business partners as well. Diane Hendricks is co-founder and Chairman of ABC Supply. In March 2012, it was estimated that her net worth of business was US$2.8 billion, and $7.8 billion was in July 2020. In 2020, Forbes ranked Hendricks the US’s richest self-made woman.

Her company ABC Supply roofing, siding, and windows in America and it is one of the largest wholesale distributors in America. In 1982, she started the business in Beloit, Wisconsin. After his husband’s death, she handles his business. Now her company has 780 branches and making over $11 billion in revenue from them. In 2008, she has also produced movies, including The Stoning of Soraya M., An American Carol, and Snowmen (2010).

Judy Faulkner is at #2 in our list of richest self-made women in America. She was born in August 1943. In 1961, Judy was graduated from Moorestown Friends School. From Dickinson College, she received a bachelor’s degree in mathematics and from the University of Wisconsin–Madison a master’s degree in computer science.
In 1979, Judy co-founded Human Services Computing, with Dr. John Greist. Her company was started with a $70,000 investment. Now Epic Systems holds the medical records of over 200 million people. Currently, 43% of Epic Systems are owned by Faulkner and her family. She is a programmer, and still CEO of the $5.5 billion sales company.

Meg Whitman is at #3 on the list of self-made women in America. She was born in New York. In 1977, she graduated with an A.B. in economics with honors from Princeton University. In 1979, she completed M.B.A. from Harvard Business School. In 1979, Meg Whitman began her career as a brand manager at Procter & Gamble in Cincinnati, Ohio. Later she moved on to work as a consultant at Bain & Company.
In 1989, she became vice president of strategic planning at Walt Disney. Before becoming president and CEO of Florists’ Transworld Delivery she joined the Stride Rite Corporation. From 1998 to 2008 she takes eBay from $5.7 million to $8 billion in sales as CEO.

Judy Love is at #4. She was born in Hackney, London. Judy Love spent the majority of her youth time in the East London area. Judy Love got a degree in Community Arts and Social Science. She has also done her Masters in Social Work from the Tavistock Institute.

Marian Ilitch has seven children in her family. Christopher Paul is CEO and president of Ilitch Holdings, Inc. In February 2018, Ron Ilitch was dead in his hotel room.
